Broken Heart Poem by Iulia Velicu

Broken Heart

Rating: 5.0

It is said the sky will throw down rocks
As there is one last diamond left,
Kept safe in it's little deep red box
Yet humans want it cleft.

Unexplainable, the day became night
Am no longer able to breathe or hear
The shadows have started to look bright
Shapes and colors are no longer clear.

Unbearable pain flows through my chest
It's quickly crawling up towards my mind
Things were never as twisted and messed
But it is just the way they were designed.

There is a pretty little stone pumping light
Unfortunately only the sign of a warning
Inside it will never again be morning
Only an explosion piercing through the night.

In uncountable glittery pieces split
The roar of a wounded lioness we hear
I keep thinking: 'Sad isn't it? '
It used to be love, now it's only fear.
