Broken Beyond Repair Poem by Danielle mitchell

Broken Beyond Repair

Rating: 4.3

Tired of pretending that I'm stronger then I am, can't you see the pain hidden in my eyes? I promised myself I wouldn't do it again, I wouldn't allow myself to feel like this again, I wouldn't push away the good, but here I am, broken beyond repair. destroying everything in my path, like a tornado of guilt, sadness, disappointment, heartache, hate, jealousy, disgust, broken beyond repair. ripping up all the beautiful and precious things, throwing them around until there's nothing left but pieces of a broken promise, a broken dream, broken beyond repair. I tried to stop it, I didn't want this. I hate the darkness that is my life, I saw your light and wanted it, to be truly happy. unfortunately sometimes darkness wins, it slow takes over, so slowly you hardly notice it, until you find yourself sitting alone in the rubble that remains of your once promised happiness, broken beyond repair. sitting with nothing but the tears of the ones you hurt to haunt you for eternity, broken beyond repair.
