Broken Poem by Oreoluwa Sanni

Broken

Daily activities as the mind sets.
Lost in endless plots of possibilities.

Trying to understand what went wrong I wondered.
What could I have done to prevent it? I pondered.

Endless rifts, time has no bounds getting deeper and deeper no solutions so it went deeper.
Sitting alone in my agony like a clock hand out of sync I was broken in my calamity.

What is this feeling
This stigma surrounding me.

It had a hold on me and we waltzed into internal pain and misery.

Keep your smile up as we dance across the ball.

Hold me tight like a lover,
look straight into my eyes and no other and don't let go as we step after step move along the floor.
