Bring Back Brotherhood Poem by Abdalla Juma Shenga

Bring Back Brotherhood

Rating: 5.0

When the sun dives
Make haste, return to your hive
You’ll stay alive
When the sun is swallowed by the evening sky, evil men thrive
Be wise I say, stay indoors and survive

We have lost the ancient spirit of consanguinity
Sinister souls are devouring our community.
Mad minds mugging our mothers
Blinded by addiction, and others
By greed. Making brothers bleed
Society has planted a bad seed
Now it’s a fully grown menace
It’s not too late let’s do our penance

Let’s have this tree chopped down
And kick the crooked minds out of town
Let the full moon shine again
No more blood, no more pain
Calm nights, no assaults, no fights
Let brotherhood and kindness be our knights

A very powerful message coming from the right source. Good use of alliteration.
