Brian. Poem by Nicole Barbour

Brian.

Rating: 5.0

29th of October 2005, the day my angel was last alive.

5 thousand, four hundred and seventy five more.. but what for?

My brain, it won't replace the look upon your face. Upon that last goodbye, the embrace.. it made me cry. As never did before, my tears they fell the through the floor. My heart. It ached for longer than a soul could take.

5 thousand, four hundred and seventy five days more, In my mind you are once more.

In my life you may not be, but your face.. imprinted in my memory.

Your voice although seems impossible to find, I search and I search for something.. a line?

It breaks my heart that I can't hear you so, but I know your watching me everywhere I go.

5 thousand, four hundred and seventy five more, days until I'm 42 and still... I can't laugh with you.

How impossible does it seem, that this life im living is just a dream?
