Breach Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Breach

Breach

In the days of fables
We listened to elders.

I recall two, of dogs!

In one, a bully dog
Had a bone, near pond
Saw a dog in water
Barked, attacked
In anger…

Fell the bone that it had
In the waves died other…

"Watch yourself and ego! "

Another dog was seen
Taking bone to its end
To measure, if can eat.

If the dog is wise to
See the size of the bite
Why not you be careful?

Now, watch and read, hear
The words of speakers.

Wonder if the leaders,
Know size of bone taken!

Many sat and signed a
Treaty with UN
And Europe, USA,
Which, Iran accepted…

Fell the bone in the pond
The selfish and mad dog
No measurement at all…

The big bone in tummy
Is stocked; no way out!
