Bouquets Of Grief. Poem by Uriah Hamilton

Bouquets Of Grief.

Rating: 5.0

Tears fall
Like flower petals
Softly to the ground,
The bouquets of grief.

In the mirror
My lonely eyes
Are gazing prayers
In the wordless void.

People who love me
Drift away in the emotional farewells
Beyond human control.

I don’t know
If anyone special
Ever returns.

It is worth every tear you have shed since your poetic birth to produce such a beautiful elegy. Bouquets to you, Uriah. And many more poems to come.... Always your friend, Sandra
