Boots On Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Boots On

Boots on

On roadside, in green
-she stood, in waiting

Great taste in choosing

Loose her pants, near butt
-conic and funnel-like
-at ankles very tight,
-went in boots; black, dark

On her head, a scarf
-a Muslim woman who
-…

Her face was of the doll's
-expensive, well-made-up

Her look was a needle
-poked my eyes…

Attractive
Attractive
Attractive

And that is exactly
-what rejects her faith with
-the verses, clear, directly:
- "Men, women of the faith
-avoid eye attraction
-that brings and causes
-the lust and damages
-innocence, families…"

Back at home took Koran
-reread it for my heart
-opened "Noor"
-with questions on my mind:
- "Who is right?
-is she right?
-what about the faith's intention?
-or today's praising ‘sexual, so sexy? '"
