Bluebells (Or Memories For Heaven) Poem by Egal Bohen

Bluebells (Or Memories For Heaven)

The bluebells
Stand silently

Witnessing
Their green nature

Delicate chains
Of crisp bells

Weeping soft scents
Of an English spring

Draped carelessly
Around old oaks

Waves of blue
Sweeping down

Beneath
The coppiced hazels

To the valley
Of the wildwood
