Blowed Out The Candle Poem by Naomi Chao

Blowed Out The Candle

She opened her eyes
seeing them smiling
it was a surprise
to feel such warmth

The candle lit up the room
glowing like a firefly
when it was rid of all the gloom
she held her breath and

blowed out the candle
-the smoke was so strong-
while being dangled
by the other happy faces

her smile was so full of joy
it reach the heavens
why would she need any toys
when every year she could

Blow out the candles
