Blood Like Water Poem by Roger Harrison

Blood Like Water

My blood is like water flowing

My pain inside of me is showing

With every single drop that falls

Each ghost from my past calls

I slowly pump my clinched fist

As watery red runs across my wrist

My life unfolds within every drop

Silent to the world with ever plop
