If I was just to walk away
would there be enough love inside
enough to make me want to stay

And if all the words we said
were all we had left spoken
would you still know what to say
to change the way we feel

If the promises that we broken
wasn't enough to mend
would it make sense to pretend
when we're just wasting time

Like blood in the water
we eventually fade to nothing
wondering why we bother
when we don't see what's real

If you could only hide
these thoughts in your head
would you go from here
this pain that holds your fear
