Blind World Poem by Afzal Shauq

Blind World

Rating: 5.0

In this world
no spark of light
darkness...

No sun rise
sunset long gone
darkness...

Deaths to soon
two loves buried
darkness...

World gone blind
indifference rules
darkness...

All will enter
none can escape
the grave.

A metaphorical poem with the theme of death bringing forward the differences that exist in the world dividing people from people. In the imagery of two loves buried under darkness denying from the sunlight explictly states the meaning of life's brevity...Winnie
