Blessed Is The Ignorant Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Blessed Is The Ignorant

Blessed is the Ignorant

Chah means "Well"
And Bhahar "Spring"
Chah Bahar is a name
A city or a town in Iran
If ever heard, learned of…
Dad called it: "Chahar Bahar"
With "Chahar" meaning "four"
He spoke in detail:
"Always had spring everywhere."
I followed history of Qajar's cruelty;
My research took place in time of
The "Zorro's Stories" on TV
Mexican history on silver screens;
The king or equal rented lands of state to close loyalists!
In return they paid tax; was same with British Loyalists!
First Nations of the lands were exchanged
They were no better than their own beasts!
So people chose to leave, if not killed!
The rivers, farms, trees abandoned!
They became refugees like today's, on roads, seas.

"Four seasons" became "Well"!

History kept rolling till late shah…
He was a devoted member of the CENTO
In a way approved by Britain, USA
To be front with Godless…
Their plan obvious;
Make a base to replace USA's
For Navy and army, also air
It could be a gate to Persian Gulf
And a noose for Riyadh

With his fall things did change
With Dubai, enemies soared flew to sky
Better late than never, so Mullahs are lucky
"Here comes India"
Searching for marketplace in needy Central Asia
A return to that base "Chah Bahar"!

Lucky the unaware! ! !
