Bless The Beats And The Children. Poem by Roxanne Dubarry

Bless The Beats And The Children.

(The following poem was inspired by a classic pop song.)

Oh dear LORD GOD Creator of the heavens and the earth.
By only your spoken Word you created the beasts of the field.
Also given them the ability to be fruitful and multiple upon
the face of the earth.

You have freely blessed both the beats and the children.
Adam was given the responsibility of the beasts of the field.
The responsibility as custodian over the animals.

Was passed down to the descendants of Adam and Eve.The
sons and the daughters of the earth. God knew they would
not completely obey his instructions. Once their sinful
nature was inherited by their descendants.

Through climate change they have many species existent
and on the endangered species list. The marine mammals
such as Orcas, seals and sea lions are effected.Whales.
and even sharks are adversely put at risk.

The fish provides food for these marine mammals, and sea birds
such seagulls. The demand is rapidly incensing.Due to increasing warmth of oceanic, and other bodies of water.
People also rely upon fish, crabs and lobsters.
Lunch, and dinner is frequently served in restaurants.

What about the children of the world? In many nations children,
youth and adults are dying from malnutrition, sickness, and
containmented drinking sources.Their crops have failed,
causing many people to rely upon leaves for their meals.
But their own governments are unable to provide help for
their needy.

Even in developed nations, many beats and children perish.
They also lack sufficient shelters from the storm.
Climate change has adversely effected the weather patterns.
Causing an increase in the frequency and the severity of hurricanes, and tornadoes. The time frame has increased and so has
the geographic areas as well.

Sex trafficking, and sexual abuse is rampart in areas such as China, and the Muslim nations. But is not confined there.
It is a world wide problem and disgrace!

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Mary C. and I recently attended a presentationby activists and a local Mukilteo Representative. It was about Orcas, sea lions, and whales. It was held in their Rose hill community center. It covered how climate change wascausing oceanic global warming effecting the salmon fish supply for marine mammals and sea birds. How concerned people such as Governor Jay Inslee were preventative measure's.

I covered people especially children, but I only touched the tip of the ice berg.
