Blackened Skies Poem by Amanda Swain

Blackened Skies

Rain falls like sheets of glass
The sky begins to rage
The thunder comes at last
God’s dog pounds on his cage
The lightening tears at the clouds
Tears fall from angel’s eyes
The wind shrieks aloud
Storms arrived in blackened skies
