Oh my dear rose,
so black and divine.
You're the one thing true
in this life of mine.
So strong and deceiving,
I cant look away
Nor not turn
as I bleed the days away.
Your thorns on your sides,
assure me I'm alive.
I'm still attached to my skin,
my hurtful senses so alive.
Thank you for him,
he made me wake up.
The heartbreak he causes
warms my blood and fills my cup.
Oh my dear rose
you stand out on the snow
as does the drops of blood
your thorns assure that I know
Im alive
in this place called hell
my one true companion
I know you well
My trusty companion
you make me bleed
yet I laugh at this
so stupid, just look at me
Your black petals are in my hair
complexion so divine
skin tone too fair
for this life of mine
As I lay in this casket,
looking peaceful in my sleep
Do you know what I hold?
A black rose as I slumber deep.
When in peace
If i find my self there
always I'll hold a black rose
and its petals in my hair

'That which kills my heart gives me peace
and eases my mind. Oh the pain I bear
that I wish I could leave behind.'
