Bitter Endings Poem by Invisible Poet

Pain overlapped with more pain.
The years together over officially.
This is how you want to end us?
Half a lifetime together and nothing.

Not even a muttered Goodbye,
Can't even look at me as you walk away.
What did I do that was so wrong?
Did you ever even love me?

You are happy now, or so you say,
You have someone by your side,
You have family with you.
Here I sit alone.

Was I never worth anything to you?
Did you really ever know me,
Or even care to?
I wish i knew.

Its over now,
I've let go,
I'll say the words you didn't,
Goodbye.
