Bird Of Solitude Poem by James W. Spain

Bird Of Solitude

Rating: 4.5

The bare
silver birch trees

glistening in
the moonlight

on the
snow covered hill

stand sentry
and offer protection

from the
cold north winds

for the lone bird
that decided to winter in New England.
