A Robert Frost Tribute Poem by James W. Spain

A Robert Frost Tribute

Rating: 5.0

Whose woods these are
he did not know.

The road less traveled
is where I chose to go.

To walk the same land
this man did walk,

inspired me deeply
and allowed my poetry to talk.

For he was a man
with much wisdom to share,

as for the critics
he simply did not care.

He wrote his poems
they came from his heart.

He believed his beloved work
played such an important part

in the lives of many
that sought comfort and peace from this man,

they looked towards this great poet
until his words ended and the legend began.

A befitting tribute to Master Of The Game. Well articulated poem beautifully penned to capture the enigma that was Robert Frost. A lovely piece indeed. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
