Billy And Jimmy And Nathan And Ted Poem by Francis Duggan

Billy And Jimmy And Nathan And Ted

Billy and Jimmy and Nathan and Ted
Four well known members of the men's shed
And with their wives also members of the bowling club
As well as being patrons of the local pub
All in their late sixties from full time work retired
Along with their wives for their community involvement they are greatly admired
In the local papers photos of them often seen
One can say of them big on the local scene
On what goes in the town they does have a say
Politicians to meet them go out of their way
Many of their former friends live elsewhere they stayed at home
Never wished to see great Cities like London or New York or Paris or Rome
The honorable founder members of the local men's shed
Billy and Jimmy and Nathan and Ted.
