Beyond The Blue Oka Poem by Galina Nagornaya

Beyond The Blue Oka

It's synny, it's so sunny.
The sky's full of belief
And sleepy ice of midnight
Melts on the edge of grief.
And seals of icy fetters
Crash under feet so far.
I fill my day with feelings
Beyond the blue Oka.

The town's full of sadness.
And faceless windows dim.
Indifferent wind drives crowns
And rolls crushed empty tins.
The streets slit all the town.
These nets of wrinkles drone:
It's cold. It's so cold here
If you are quite alone.
