Best Friends Poem by Liz Eckel

It seems like I've known you forever,
even though it was only since fourth grade.
Just know I'll always be there for you,
ready to aid.

Four years seemed to go by so fast,
and more and more I want to go back to the past.

Just so I could be your friend all over again
Even though we fight sometimes,
we always find our way though.
And now I realize how much of a wreck
my life would be without you.

I know I can always count on you when I'm feeling down,
because you just have a way of making me smile
when I grow a frown.

See your my best friend, and I know you probablly
already knew that.
