BENEATH THE SKY Poem by Gloria Posada

BENEATH THE SKY

Stars
point out the Earth
Elements inhabit us
shape the flesh
substance and heat
of our bodies

Clusters of clouds
travel in the wind
join and part
in the imprecise shape of time
Cycle or end
lying in wait for us

We beneath the sky
do not know exactly
what the weather will be
