Belligerent Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Belligerent

Belligerent

Some think that I am rude,
Dislike my attitude! ! !

Many ask and question:
"Why are you belligerent? "
"Why to be belligerent? "
"Do not be belligerent! "

None of them is aware,
Of the pain in my head!

Each step on pavement,
Showers me with concern!

Maybe luck, or bad luck
Took me out, all around,
Saw many continents,
Like Hero of Joseph!

I have been the Campbell's,
Met El Che, George Orwell,
King Hussein and Qaboos,
To King of Lesotho!

Rulers are mirror's face,
Most nations see darkness.

In Sochi, Brezhnev,
In Khartoum, Nimeiry,
In Cairo, Pyramids
Told me myths, stories!

Crude oil on the coal
Adds plumes to smoke!

Observing apartheid,
Palaces rich with lies,
For the sake of royals
Set fire in my heart!

Is it luck or bad luck?
