Being Rejected For One's Own Creative Efforts Poem by Shalom Freedman

Being Rejected For One's Own Creative Efforts

Rating: 4.5

Being rejected for one's own creative efforts
Should not mean total hopelessness
There are other aspects of life
Family
Friends
Pleasures
The morning light
The dreams of music
So much beauty sometimes in nature
There is so much to life
Why it is always this one thing
Which means everything?
So you are not good enough
Neither am I
Few are
Please please
Look see feel
So many blessings
All around us.

This discusses an important issue. It also offers good advice. My heart sinks when I am rejected. I think now I am learning form it some new things. I have learned to love mistakes I make, because there is a truth in the review. Thanks for sharing.
