Behind The Veils
Behind the veils of memories
covered under the dust of the past
A known but unknown face appeared
And soon took a shape- quite familiar
Behind the veils of memories
sealed under the depth of age
A heard but unheard voice sang
and soon became a symphony- quite familiar
I tried to touch and feel
tried to speak and talk
tears rolled down on the either side
of the veils of memories.
An insightful paradoxical piece of poetry, well encapsulated and nicely brought forth in good poetic diction with conviction. A lovely poem indeed.
