Before You Go Away

Kiss me good bye
Rekindle the love
that once touched our hearts
Gaze at my eyes
Bring the memories of time passed
When songs of happiness
played on the harp
The memory of love that swept us
like the waves of the ocean
The love that nourished our souls
The love that was adorned
by roses and flowers
So before you go away
give me a kiss
give me a hug
Shake my hand
and say good bye

Poem of the Day

poet Robert Frost

Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
