Before Passing Negative Judgements Poem by Francis Duggan

Before passing negative judgement on another to you some advice
Before you speak once always do think twice
For nothing hurts more than the cruel verbal or written attack
And you leave yourself open to what is known as payback
To your higher self always do remain true
And from most others you will receive the respect you are due
And do unto others as you'd like them do unto you
With your words much good or great harm you can do
Some people are not happy in their own mind
In hurting others feelings great pleasure they find
One might say that they take their criticisms too far
But suppose we cannot help the way that we are
The non judgemental do possess a gift that is rare
Of the feelings of others they are always aware.
