Before it's to late

I wanted you more then life itself
I put up with all your lies
and even took you back
after I found you with that girl
all you do is put me down
put your hands on me
as I lie and try to cover it up
like everything is fine
the marks dont go away before
you make another
I don't know what it will take
for me to wake up and let go
before it's to late

Never give more then what you recieve back, I don't completly understand 'love' but I do believe in order to be in love you need two equal halves.

We all deserve to know love without physical hurt in this life... Anyone who loves you would never lay a hand upon you in anger... Your poem is sad, yet beautiful... (Report) Reply
