Beaver Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Beaver

Beaver

Today, I
Feel like am "All in one, "
Have mimicked some beaver
I plan, engineer, am mason, do labour!

We have known each other
Not for long yet ever
Since hearts are connected.

She is like baby fish
And current is devil…

Made a dam to save her
And in heart, I love her.

Signed to her a corner
To stay and can rest.

I will watch and enjoy:
"Are mine and stay safe."

Had I not been saviour
As are the prophets,
She might have ended in
Some sort of brothel…

Maybe not obvious
And maybe not in light
With words like:
"Congrats, good husband, "
That parents would arrange!

I turned me to cloud
With silver edge, bright
As said in "Tunnel's light, "
And gave her hope with love.

"I love you, " felt her say
In my heart, I felt same
Put the ink on papers:
"Agree that she is mine."
