Beauty Poem by Sylvia Frances Chan

Beauty

Rating: 4.8

Beauty can be found everywhere in nature
to find it, eyes must be mature
hungry stomachs must be nurtured
the spinning wheel a new venture

what was the reason
that you spoke of beauty?
where were you wandering
that you spoke of beauty?

beauty can be found everywhere in nature
it is not a distant tale
it is not even for sale
as you know everything in nature
it is for whom will find it
oft free and constantly free

but must be found first
and set it free

beauty is like a prisoner
it must be rescued and fed

always hungry for food, it needed
love and a caring soul
to be showered
to be flowered
to be kept alive
between all things in life

yes, beauty shall be your strife
in your ardent life
like between man and wife
a choice for life

beauty is like your heartbeat
must hear the constant sound
of love and care all around
if not it would fade away
it will die all suddenly
beauty is like a prisoner
the beauty you can see
it lives in love all around
like the heartbeat will die
a sudden death
if love does not possess it

you will find and can see the beauty
finally alive in nature all around
nurtured by love in human sound
like the heartbeat
dies a sudden death
if not accompanied by
the precious presence of love

for beauty only survives
with love solely
connives....
but sans knives

yes, beauty shall be your strife
in your ardent life
like between husband and wife
the sweetest choice for life....

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
About the pure definition of Beauty. It is a mental product difficult to see, feel or grab. It must be handled with much care, finally we can see BEAUTY as it must be....as IT IZZ....Beauty is not fysical, but true mental thing. Our mind must be aware of this BEAUTY, otherwise we, I or you cannot SEE beauty, it is a purest thing, it grows inside our mind, then at last we can see beauty as it is, the perfect form of BEAUTY seen and worded by human's gift. Of course, it remains the view of a person/poet/poetess/human being, and as we know each human being is a unique being, therefore never to be compared with others his/hers equal. That's my explanation behind this poem of mine about BEAUTY.Indeed, I see Beauty in nature surrounding me, so beautiful, beauty in each thing we see, observe, in the tiniest thing, in the greatest things, in minor subjects and in mayor subjects. I am never finished talking about BEAUTY. But thank you so much for reading. With love from Sylvia Frances Chan, written and created on Black Friday AD 24 November 2017 @ 4.01 hrs a.m. West-European Time

MUST BE NOTED, as I am fond and it is my habit since childhood to put the DAY-DATE-sometimes about the weather AND temperature, but most oft it is always the DATE, DAY, TIME and location of the TIMEZONE, thus I created this poem on BLACK FRIDAY the 24 NOVEMBER 2017 and POEMHUNTER puts still the 23rd Nov 2017, since IT IZZ there where PH resides of course still the 23rd November 2017 and that is the day before the 24th and that is the 23rd Nov.2017. WHY I am explaining this? BECAUSE YOU KNOW THEN, THAT BOTH ARE VERY RIGHT. We in WEST/EUROPE are hours ahead of the USA. THANK YOU SO MUCH TO ALL POETS. Sincerely Sylvia Frances Chan, Dutch Poetess, Evangelist and World Traveler.

A fascinating, insightful piece of work! I support, it’s a mental product difficult to see, feel or grab…beauty does not necessarily relate to physical entity it is something eternal that sparks light in the form of knowledge and wisdom providing ultimate peace! Appreciated your poem dear madam…10
