Beauty Poem by Brittany Fegley

Beauty

Her hair as black as death
Her skin as white as pearls
Her body sculped by the master
Beauty surrounds her
She can not see
Her nails are as blue
As the ocean we sail
Her eyes browner
Than the ground we walk
No one could compare
They could not
Should not
Would not
Dare
The creator blessed her
Mind
Body
And soul
She speaks so eliquent
She walks so dilligent
Her mind as bright
As the suns rays
The words she speaks
Are as beautiful
As flowers
She puts herself down
And rips herself up
Till she can break no
More
She'll never know
Her beauty
For she has no courage
For faith
Her faith like glass
Fragile and easily broken
They strike
And pieces of her soul
Fade
As her eyes go vacent
Once broken
She fixes herself
Tries to atleast
Boose to the stomach
Justified by pain
Pills popped
crushed
or smoked
She's never picky
Just one fix
Then another
Shot up
Doped up
F*cked up
Justified by pain
Once dead
Her body just
Goes through the motions
The motions that say
'Hey I'm okay'
In reality
Her heart is like
Paper easily ripped and torn
Her soul like clay
Oh so easily manipulated
Her body no longer hers
She's an entire entity
Never loses Beauty
It can not be changed
Never broken
She is Beautiful
