Never Poem by Brittany Fegley

Never

I've never known you
Or the love of a father
No I lied
The love I felt
Was Pain
Suffering
Loss
Thats what I felt
Abandonment
I thought thats
What love was
I've never felt love
But what you did
What you made me feel
Is not love
It never will be
I always come
At loss for words
When I think of you
I'm over come by sadness
Grief
Pain
Mostly dispair

Our last generation of youngsters did not feel this much of pain, as we lived as a community in a small visible areas, where the children communicate with the elders and the peers. Children hate their parents, in spite of having better monetary comforts, which means love is more important than anything else.. a poem which expresses the feeling of an youngster..
