Such a beautiful soul,
An endearing heart.
Yet so much pain,
It makes me cry inside.
The closer I get, the further
I am tossed backwards.
He shines so heavenly,
All the stars would be so jealous.
I try not to fall for him,
For fear he will
Barricade himself with more walls.
I am at a crossroad in the dark,
I turn to his light and step forward.
I can't turn back now,
The light is so lovely around him.
My only concern left is my feelings
Will get me hurt with all the beautiful pain.
