Holding my breath
Heart wide open
I take that step
I have waited for this moment
In what seems like forever
You stole my heart and cared for it
Just when I thought I was alone
In the dark and lost
I looked up and saw your shining smile
You took me by the hand
Your touch electrified me
Brought life back to me
I could stare into your eyes for an eternity
You pull me in close
Wrap your arms around me
And I melt into you
My body, mind and soul is yours
For you always had my heart
