Battle At Willow Tree Poem by Melody Thomas

Battle At Willow Tree

Battle at Willow Tree

Fair ye young lad standing by an old willow tree
Can you relinquish your arms on bended knee?
For I’ll not put for-worth your all gallantry
Your finest of arms are all shielded upon your majesty.

Fair ye young lad whom are you waiting for?
Our king’s far off to diminish our enemy full score
There have been many whom once stood beside
With their mighty horses and well-armed forces in stride.

Beside the mightiest and bounteous forested Willow Tree
For all the knights in full throttle well- armed in their gallantry.
