Basketball Hoop Part1 Poem by Ciara Ross

Basketball Hoop Part1

There once was a boy who live in a bad neighbor hood.
He was young, and loved to have fun.
Down the street, was a basketball hoop made from wood.
He was never allowed to go out in the dark, only in the sun.

Then one day, his mom worked late.
The babysitting had gone, he was alone.
He ran outside, his heart beating at a fat rate
His hat fell, the one his grandmother sown

The got to the court, and started to shoot.
Then he saw two guys, that were really tall.
One hit him, the other kicked him with his oversized boot.
The two guys weren't friendly at all.
