Barren Beauty Poem by Sonya Florentino

Barren Beauty

Rating: 5.0

The bare trees look beautiful against the sky

Why should I cry

Winter too is simply passing by.....

COMMENTS OF THE POEM
bye bye... bye bye 20 December 2009

Trees are beautiful, in all seasons, but in winter they get so barren... like human beings without anywhere to hide... 'winter too is simply passing by'... like our emotions... and even our lives... but still we have some spring seasons to look forward to, don´t we, Sonya? ... this is a deep and profound write in its sweet simplicity...

I love short poems that say it all. And this one does. Well-timed for the winter solstice, Sonya, and a reminder in dark days that 'this too, shall pass'. Nomad

Before you know it, spring will be here. The sun will shine again.
