Ballad Of A Mothers Love Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Ballad Of A Mothers Love

How could I forget,
Could I ever,
The gifts received from heaven,
With arms wide open,
A teacher for the better,
More precious than gold,
An example of sacrifice,
With every blink of the eye,
Who gave the gift of life,
With every word spoken,
A bouquet of pretty flowers,
Dressed in the best wrap,
Your every word inspires,
When nothing feels real,
Hands that have painted the crafts that hang upon walls,
And healed the wounds that ached once I've fallen from afar,
My own bundle of joy,
To watch mother smile,
How could I forget,
Your loving voice,
The embrace of your arms,
Each time they are around me,
Those hugs that make everything better,
How could I thank you,
What are the words,
For being my best friend,
For always being proud of me,
And loving me just because
