Bagged Butterflies Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Bagged Butterflies

There isn't a reason to be insecure;
With each kiss that trails down
Your stomach
May the butterflies that rest find peace
And always return to where they
Know as home as they flutter about.
May my lips keep your butterflies
Company and reveal
The strength you give to overcome
My shyness & insecurity as well
As yours.
There's nothing wrong with sharing
A laugh or two
in a moment of intimacy.
My lips against your stomach
The underbelly of where
your butterflies hide
In involuntary bliss
