Balimbing

Salitang Balimbing, bakit nauso ba?

Dahil sa kongresso, Carambola is the game

Kaya huwag magtaka, huwag ka nang magtanong
Bakit politiko’y tinawag ng gano’n
Sila ay enemies, protagonists noon
Ngunit magkakampi, buddy-buddy ngayon
Ang pride at prinsipyo’y wala at nilulon

Poem of the Day

poet John Clare

I love to see the old heath's withered brake
Mingle its crimpled leaves with furze and ling,
While the old heron from the lonely lake
Starts slow and flaps its melancholy wing,
