Bahar Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Bahar

Bahar

She, to me, is killer
Lovers are murderers.

I warned her of our age:
"There is big difference! "

Try to avoid her,
Do not wish to harm her.

But she is a star
Sitting in darkest night
Of poet's weary life.

Up in north, she shines on
The track that I walk…

"Don't fear to start, "
She replied, sent with heart.

Sort of my grandchild
Is wiser than the owl.

I am like clay in
The poems of Khayyam
And she is the potter,
What can be the outcome?

I love her more with time,
Can this last for too long?

Am shattered already,
How wish to fall and die
If ever, while alive,
"We" turns to "You and I! "

Hey, Bahar, for God's sake
Search in the sea of love
And upon finding knife
Stab it in my heart
Turn me into Farhad
Carving you in the rocks…
