Back To You Poem by Timothy Ko.

Back To You

For some time now cupid shot at me
My heart called out for you to see
Knowing this you reached out your hand
My emotions flying prepared to land
But then tragedy followed close by
Couldn't get ready for this genocide
You struck my soul fairly indirectly
But a perfect hit, life hung just barely
With you so close to some other guy
Didn't even give me time for a good-bye
Witnessed it clearly, there and then
Pains all over that'll never mend
Hurts more than a knife's penetration
Couldn't find tears, no contemplation
Anger filled up, what'd u do to me?
I'm not that bug beneath your feet
Don't worry, love, I'll get you back
More pain for you, your heart will crack
To me all this a small pain in time
Forever will you regret your crime
As concrete your anguish will mold
Till the day you die memory will unfold
Cold and cruel my words may sound
But the wound from you remains profound
