Away Poem by Hana M Nor

Away

The sky turned dark,
As the cloud pouring down bits and pieces of you,
Turning the calm day
Into whisper.

Rectangular hole dug out,
Along with the velvety droplets of rain mixed,
Bringing the earthy smell,
Never washing away the bland taste in the mouth.
Our glorious, colorful day,
Decorated with floral ornaments,
Faded away,
Away from friends,
Far, far away from family.

You used to be there,
In the bedroom,
Smell of pleasant memories
Where you lied,
Getting far away,
Never coming home,
Again.

'Dust to dust is a must.' An insightful depiction of death 💀 well articulated and nicely penned. Thanks for sharing.
