Autumn's Child # 5 Poem by Roxanne Dubarry

Autumn's Child # 5

Rating: 5.0

Autumn's child is as free as the gentle autumn's wind
softly blowing through her hair.Filling her heart
and mind with peaceful poetic thoughts so sublime.
She is not wasting her valuable time spinning
cobwebs in the air.

Autumn's Child is as soft as the snow white dove,
freely flying in heavenly skies above.
Softly singing his songs of love. Trying to
attract his own special lady bird.
Raising together their family.

Autumn's child is a wild and free as the mustangs
roaming the plains in the fall of the year.
Roaming free when no human beings at all near.
No man can really tame free spirits of the plains.

Autumn's child's spirit does flow wherever the
orange, green and red leaves blow.Circling in
the sky and falling down on all who pass by.
Gently falling to the earth below on the dirt.

Autumn's child does have tear drops in her eyes,
and does cry. Whenever she behold a bright
fall sunrise or sunset.Autumn is her
favorite time of the year. It is the season
she cherishes most dear!
