Autumn Leaves Poem by Joan Averso

Autumn Leaves

Rating: 5.0

The Autumn leaves are starting to turn color,

the brilliance of them isn't like any other!

Their vivid hues of crimson, yellow, and gold

is a splendid vision for us all to behold!

Hot air balloons are floating in the sky

giving an excellent view as they pass on by.

The hillsides are picture perfect without a flaw,

leaving me so breathless and in such awe.

It has to be the Lord's artistry at hand,

only He can make something appear so grand!

The smell of the leaves and crispness in the air,

none of the other seasons can ever compare!

Horse drawn hayrides are off to pumpkin patches,

apple cider is being sold by the batches!

Fall is the most favorable time of the year,

let's carve a pumpkin and have some good cheer! !
