A Day At The Beach Poem by Joan Averso

A Day At The Beach

Rating: 4.3

Sun glistening ocean and waves so grand

The laughter of children playing in the sand.

The bluest of blues and the greenest of greens

makes for one of the beautiful scenes.

Long walks along the shoreline picking up shells

Surfers are waiting to catch the biggest swells.

Castles made from a little tot's pail

On the blue horizon ships set sail.

Frisbees soaring high in the air

A day at the beach for all to share.

Superb poem, the beach has really something magic. Recently a good friend of mine expressed his awe as follows: Can you imagine the great vastness of the oceans and our Creator does not even let us drink a sip of it! Good rhymes, good rhythm. Keep on writing.

A typical happy day at the beach well depicted. A lovely piece well penned. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
