Autumn leaves falling
Landing upon cold damp graves
Lost ones soon return

Your first line is the essence of autumn with leaves falling. The second line is the bleak consequence of the seasonal change with winter soon to descend and claim the rest of the year for itself But the last line is a muted expression of hope in a renewal of life. Tm not sure the degree of hope or even resurrection, but your poem strikes me as honest and true in confronting the uncertainities of life. c
