Authority Poem by Sherman Peebody

Authority

"Children laugh and carry on,
As children often do.
But I rule with iron fist,
And tolerate no fool."

"So sit there child and feel the shame,
The eyes of all your friends.
I put tape upon your mouth,
Your chatter-box offends."

"And take this moment to reflect,
You know it's for your good.
Humiliation teaches you,
To fear me as you should! "
